Victor Boniface played a pivotal role in Bayer Leverkusen's 2-1 victory against Eintracht Frankfurt today.
Boniface scored the opening goal in the 32nd minute, making the most of a defensive error. Frankfurt's Omar Marmoush equalized in the 16th minute, but Boniface's assist to Robert Andrich in the 70th minute secured the win for Leverkusen.
With this win, Bayer Leverkusen moves up to 5th place in the Bundesliga table, just two points behind Eintracht Frankfurt, currently in 3rd spot.
Leverkusen's next challenge is an away match against Stade Brest 29 in the UEFA Champions League on October 23, 2024
