
FC Barcelona claimed a dominant 5-2 victory over FK Crvena Zvezda Belgrade in their UEFA Champions League match held at the Rajko Mitic Stadium in Belgrade. The match displayed Barcelona's offensive power and tactical precision, as they took control of the game early on.
Barcelona broke the deadlock in the 12th minute when Iñigo MartÃnez scored the opening goal. FK Crvena Zvezda responded quickly, with Silas Katompa Mvumpa equalizing in the 26th minute.
However, Barcelona regained their advantage just before the break, as Robert Lewandowski found the net in the 42nd minute. The Polish striker continued his fine form early in the second half, scoring again in the 52nd minute.
Two minutes later, Raphinha added another goal for Barcelona, further extending their lead.
The visitors were not finished there, as Fermin Lopez added a fifth goal in the 76th minute. FK Crvena Zvezda managed to pull one back through Milson in the 84th minute, but it proved too little, too late, as Barcelona comfortably secured the win.
Barcelona's upcoming UEFA Champions League match is scheduled for November 26, 2024, when they will host Stade Brest 29 at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys in Barcelona.
