Nigerian Disc Jockey, Florence Otedola, widely known as DJ Cuppy, has recently suggested that she might be considering a career change.

In a post on her X (formerly Twitter) account, DJ Cuppy shared her thoughts on her current career path and the future she envisions.

DJ Cuppy, a well-known figure in the music industry, admitted that while DJing remains her passion, this year has felt different. She expressed a desire to "level up" and make a more significant impact. She said, "DJing is my passion, but to be honest, this year has felt like a whole new experience, like I’m meant to level up and make a bigger impact. Only God knows what’s next."

Her comments have elicited various reactions from her fans. One fan urged her to return to DJing, saying, "Start DJing again. I have missed your vibes on IG. I don’t like the new you at all." DJ Cuppy responded honestly, "I don’t like the old me at all."

Earlier this year, DJ Cuppy released a gospel mixtape, which she said was inspired by divine direction following her baptism. This move is seen as part of her ongoing journey and search for a deeper purpose.
