This revelation was made public by Kemi Olunloyo, a well-known and often controversial investigative journalist, through an audio post on her social media platforms. She referenced an unnamed source from the FBI who purportedly connected Peller to cybercriminal activities.

In her comments, Olunloyo highlighted that Peller had previously admitted to engaging in internet fraud during a live session on TikTok. Following this admission, he has since shifted his focus to a legitimate career as a content creator. However, Olunloyo urged the young influencer, who is just 19 years old, to exercise caution in his future statements, warning that his past confessions might have legal repercussions.

Moreover, she drew parallels between Peller's circumstances and those of Hushpuppi, another influencer currently serving a prison sentence in the United States for cybercrime-related offenses. “If you know Peller, please tell him to SFTU. He is about to single-handedly ruin his own future,” Olunloyo cautioned, emphasizing the heightened scrutiny facing influencers suspected of engaging in online fraud.
