Renowned Nigerian singer and songwriter Tiwa Savage recently announced that she is embracing what she calls her "Phoenix era."
The phoenix, a mythical bird, symbolizes rebirth, resilience, and immortality, often depicted rising from its ashes. Known for its vivid plumage and flowing tail, the phoenix is associated with renewal and is connected to the sun god in both Greek and Egyptian mythology.
During an open interview on Beat FM, Tiwa shared reflections on her personal and professional growth, describing her journey in powerful terms. "I’m in my Phoenix era. I have a phoenix tattoo on my neck. I have gone through the fire, and it is like a reinvention," she expressed. "I am emerging stronger, in love, in facing heartbreak, and in my current stage of life. Now, I accept certain realities, establish boundaries, and take pride in my accomplishments. This is the rebirth of Tiwa Savage."
