Veteran Nollywood actress Joke Muyiwa has celebrated a remarkable achievement by earning a PhD in Theatre Arts from the prestigious University of Ibadan. This accomplishment marks a significant milestone in both her acting career and academic journey.
She shared her joy on Instagram, expressing immense gratitude. "My promotion to the position of Chief Arts Fellow, a Professorial cadre, was announced today. Lord, I say THANK YOU," Muyiwa wrote, acknowledging her new role in academia. Alongside this achievement, she also celebrated the title "Dr. Mrs. Joke Muyiwa," proudly sharing the news that she had successfully defended her PhD project.
Muyiwa's impressive career as an actress spans over several years, with notable roles in films like Erin Lakatabu (2004) and The Narrow Path (2006). In addition to her acting, she holds a position as an academic staff member at Olabisi Onabanjo University in the Department of Performing Arts.
