Juventus has confirmed the early termination of Paul Pogba's contract, following a challenging series of events.
Initially rejoining the club in 2022 after leaving Manchester United, Pogba's second stint with Juventus was plagued by injuries and off-field controversies. His situation worsened with a doping ban after testing positive for testosterone, leading to a lengthy suspension.
However, in October 2024, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) reduced his four-year ban to 18 months, allowing him to return to competitive football by March 2025. Despite this, Juventus has made it clear they no longer have plans for Pogba in their squad. The club has already opened negotiations to terminate his contract, which was set to run until 2026. Sources indicate that discussions are progressing towards an agreement, with the possibility of Pogba leaving the club immediately.
Pogba’s potential return to the field, while delayed, is expected to generate interest from clubs in the MLS and Saudi Pro League.
