Anna Lewandowska, wife of Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski, took to Instagram on Monday to share footage of significant flooding in and around their luxury home.
The video revealed approximately two inches of floodwater in their garage, underscoring the severity of the situation in Castelldefels, a coastal town near Barcelona.
Valencia has been severely affected by ongoing floods, resulting in over 200 confirmed deaths and numerous people missing. The torrential rains have caused widespread havoc, leading to the suspension of train services and the cancellation of more than 80 flights at Barcelona's main airport. In response, the Spanish weather service has issued a red alert for parts of Catalonia due to continued heavy rainfall.
Anna Lewandowska's posts not only showed the floodwater in their home but also captured the extensive flooding in the surrounding areas, with cars almost fully submerged and streets heavily inundated. The crisis in Valencia remains critical, with rescue operations ongoing and the death toll expected to increase.
The couple, married since 2013, currently reside in a three-story house worth approximately €3.3 million, rented from Real Betis defender Marc Bartra. Despite the dire circumstances, Anna's posts have highlighted the urgent need for assistance and support in the affected regions.
