
Dominik Szoboszlai opened the scoring for Liverpool in the 30th minute, but Adam Armstrong equalized for Southampton in the 42nd minute, leaving the score level at halftime.
Southampton took the lead early in the second half through Mateus Fernandes, who finished off an assist from Armstrong in the 56th minute.
Liverpool quickly responded with Mohamed Salah stepping up to make the difference. Salah equalized in the 65th minute with an assist from Ryan Gravenberch and later converted a penalty in the 83rd minute to complete the comeback.
The result keeps Liverpool firmly at the top of the league standings, while Southampton continues to face challenges at the bottom of the table.
