Paul Okoye, known by his stage name Rudeboy, has publicly accused his twin brother, Peter Okoye (Mr P), of stealing and releasing his unreleased song. The controversy began when Peter announced the release of a new track titled "Winning" on his Instagram account, claiming it would be available on all streaming platforms.
In response, Paul took to his own Instagram to assert his ownership of the song. He wrote, "Song title: WINNING. Written and sung by RUDEBOY. Produced by the same producer. NOW HOW COME? NOW AM I SUPPOSED TO RELEASE ANOTHER VERSION?" Paul expressed his frustration, questioning how he could release another version of a track originally intended for his 2025 album.
Further elaborating on the situation, Paul revealed that he had submitted six songs to their management, only to discover that one of his tracks had been re-recorded and released by Peter. He stated, "Just a simple thing: Bring 6 songs, let me bring 6 songs… submitted my 6 songs to the so-called management. Why re-singing my own song word for word?"
The accusation has ignited a heated reaction on social media, with fans and followers weighing in on the dispute. While some speculate that the altercation could be a promotional tactic, others have expressed disappointment over the ongoing feud between the brothers.
This incident adds to the ongoing tension between the former PSquare members, who have experienced several public disagreements since their split in 2017. Although the brothers briefly reconciled in 2021, their relationship has remained strained, with Paul recently accusing Peter of being involved in his arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)—a claim Peter has denied.
