Nigerian singer and dancer Peter Okoye, popularly known for his role in the former Psquare duo, has secured a major residency deal, marking a groundbreaking moment in Nigeria and across Africa. Announced via Instagram, Okoye shared that he has signed on for a weekly performance residency at Lagos' Zaza, a prime nightlife destination. This deal stands as the first of its kind on the continent, further emphasizing the milestone.
In his Instagram post, Okoye assured fans that his shows, scheduled for every Sunday starting November 17 and running until January 5, will deliver "out of this world" and "never-before-seen" performances. Expressing gratitude, he thanked his team and the entire Zaza Lagos crew for their support in achieving this venture.
In his own words, Okoye said:

There’s never been a residency in Africa before, and I’m proud to be the first artist to get a residency deal.”
He also highlighted that this residency will serve as an official launch event for Zipprepublic, complete with pop-up stands for guests to enjoy.
