Singer Adele, 36, recently shared a heartfelt moment with Céline Dion, 56, during a performance at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, a venue that holds special significance as it hosted Céline’s own iconic residency for over a decade.
In footage shared online, the two stars are seen warmly embracing on stage before Adele returned to the floor, prompting the audience to “Give it up for Ms. Céline Dion.” An emotional Céline wiped tears from her eyes with a tissue, then stood to wave at the crowd while Adele continued singing her hit song, When We Were Young.
In a separate clip, Adele expressed her admiration for Céline, calling her “one of my favourite people of all time” as she gestured to the legendary singer in the audience. Accompanying a photo of herself wearing a Céline-themed t-shirt, Adele shared her excitement, writing, “What a show, an absolute highlight of my life. Thank you so much for the attention to your crowd and your incredible humor. Happy new year lady x.”
