A Nigerian couple recently celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary with a memorable encounter with Rúben Amorim, the newly appointed Manchester United manager. The meeting took place at Old Trafford during Amorim's introductory tour of the stadium.
Amorim officially joined Manchester United on November 11, 2024, signing a contract until June 2027 with an optional one-year extension. Known for his success with Sporting CP, where he won two Primeira Liga titles, Amorim is regarded as one of Europe's most promising young coaches. United secured his services for a reported €11 million release fee.
His first match in charge will occur after the international break on November 24, 2024, against Ipswich Town in a Premier League clash at Portman Road. This will be followed by his home debut in the Europa League against Bodo/Glimt on November 28, 2024.
