President Bola Tinubu has expressed enthusiasm about the historic visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Nigeria.
In a statement shared on his Twitter account, Tinubu wrote: "I look forward to welcoming Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his first visit to Nigeria, which is also the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to our dear country since 2007. Our bilateral discussions will seek to expand the strategic partnership between both countries and enhance cooperation in critical sectors."
He continued with, "Welcome to Nigeria, PM Modi @narendramodi." This visit, which began on November 16, 2024, marks a significant moment in Nigeria-India relations, with both leaders focused on enhancing cooperation in key areas such as energy, defense, and economic investments.
