Real Madrid forward Rodrygo de Goes has returned to training after recovering from a muscular injury sustained during the team's La Liga match against Osasuna on November 9.

The Brazilian attacker, who suffered a strain in his left leg's rectus femoris muscle, was initially projected to be sidelined for five to six weeks. However, his progress has been promising, and he is now back on the training pitch.

In the meantime, Real Madrid faced Liverpool in a mid-week Champions League clash at Anfield on November 27. Despite missing key players like Rodrygo and Lucas Vazquez, Carlo Ancelotti's side fell to a 2-0 defeat. Goals by Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo secured the win for Liverpool.

Looking ahead, Real Madrid managed to bounce back in La Liga with a solid 3-0 victory over CD Leganes on Sunday, November 24. Goals from Karim Benzema, Vinicius Junior, and Federico Valverde helped the team to secure a much-needed win.

Real Madrid is set to take on Getafe CF this weekend at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at 16:15. The team will be eager to continue their positive momentum and climb up the league table.
