Alejandro Garnacho recently expressed his belief that some Manchester United fans have lost faith in him, which influenced his decision not to celebrate his latest goal.
This followed a tense encounter with a fan ahead of the Europa League match against PAOK, where Garnacho was criticized for not passing enough.
On November 10, 2024, Manchester United triumphed 3-0 over Leicester, with Fernandes marking his 250th appearance for the club by scoring a key goal.
Garnacho scored the third goal but didn't celebrate. Bruno Fernandes offered support, explaining, “Garnacho scored a banger but didn’t celebrate like he should because he thinks he has lost faith from some fans." He added, “I told him people will always moan but lots of people like you and enjoy what you do.”
