Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, the First Lady of Ondo State, proudly shared images of herself in a convocation gown on her official X (formerly Twitter) account.
The photos, posted on Saturday, were a celebration of her achievement at the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), where she received a Doctorate degree.
Expressing her joy, she captioned the post, stating: "The D-DAY is here. The doctorate degree convocation ceremony of FUTA. Behold, the Empress of Amotekun land! Aya Aketi - Dr. Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu. Mission Accomplished! Better late than never!".
This milestone comes after years of commitment to social causes, including her influential work through the Breast Cancer Association of Nigeria (BRECAN) and the empowerment of women in Ondo State through various initiatives.
Betty Akeredolu, often referred to as the "digital First Lady," has been a strong advocate for women's rights and empowerment, pushing for socio-economic change despite initial resistance.
