Wizkid has officially announced the release date for his highly anticipated album, *Morayo*. Set for release on November 22, 2024, the Nigerian superstar shared the news via a post on X, accompanied by the album cover and the message: "Morayo! Nov 22!! 🦅".
The album, which marks a significant moment in Wizkid's career, is a deeply personal project dedicated to his late mother, Jane Morayo Balogun, who passed away in 2023. The title *Morayo* is a Yoruba phrase meaning "I see joy," capturing a sense of both tribute and emotional healing.
Fans can expect *Morayo* to be an evocative body of work, blending Wizkid's signature Afrobeats style with elements of R&B, as he explores the journey of grief and growth following the loss of his mother. The album is being hailed as his best work to date, with the singer describing it as his most meaningful creation.
This release comes after the success of his recent single "Piece of My Heart," featuring American artist Brent Faiyaz, further heightening anticipation for the full album.
