Roy Keane has expressed his disappointment with Alejandro Garnacho's lackluster reaction after scoring against Leicester City, urging the young Manchester United player to show more enthusiasm in celebrating his goals.

Garnacho, who has netted seven goals and provided four assists in 18 appearances this season, scored a brilliant goal in the 82nd minute of United's 3-0 victory but opted for a subdued celebration.

Keane, speaking on the Stick to Football podcast, commented, "When you score a goal, nothing else should matter. Fans travel and pay a lot to be there, and he's worried about people criticizing him. If a young player can't enjoy scoring for Manchester United, then maybe they should find a different job."

Keane’s remarks come after Garnacho’s recent interaction with a fan before United's Europa League game against PAOK Salonika, which seemingly influenced his reaction to the goal. Despite his stellar performance this season, Garnacho has faced significant pressure from supporters.

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes shed light on Garnacho's reserved celebration, saying, "I told him to celebrate. It was something special. He's a special player, and difference-makers like him are the ones who win us games."

Keane emphasized the importance of enjoying the moment, adding, "No matter what’s going on off the pitch, when you score a goal, you should savor it. For that moment or weekend, enjoy it as if nothing else matters."
