AC Milan has officially appointed Sérgio Conceição as the head coach of their men's first team, with a contract extending until June 30, 2026.
This announcement follows the dismissal of Paulo Fonseca earlier today, after a 1-1 draw against AS Roma left the team in eighth place in Serie A, 14 points behind the leaders.
Conceição, a former winger with experience in Serie A clubs such as Lazio, Parma, and Inter Milan, previously managed FC Porto, leading them to multiple domestic titles. His tenure at Milan is set to begin with a challenging fixture against Juventus in the Supercoppa Italiana semi-final on January 3.
