Ogunmola stated, “Everyone will be forced to put their films in cinemas. Going to the cinema is crazy expensive, and it’s not guaranteed that you will make your money back.” She emphasized that while many people prioritize essential needs over frequent cinema visits, the exclusivity of cinema releases places additional pressure on filmmakers.
Adding a humorous note about the highly competitive 2024 lineup of Nigerian films, she wrote, “Omo, una go watch film for cinema next year tire. The lineup??? Crazy!!! God abeg. Why did I come at this time?” Ogunmola is one of the co-producers of Ajosepo, an upcoming Nollywood movie set for exclusive cinema release in April 2024. The film, directed by Kayode Kasum, promises a mix of humor and cultural themes, further underscoring the actress's vested interest in cinema viability.
