In a recent Instagram post, Dikeh described the scam as follows:
"Someone could approach you in public, crying and wailing, accusing you of making a fake transfer for something you allegedly bought. A crowd gathers, tensions rise, and you're forced to either pay up or face jungle justice."
She further cautioned that such situations could lead to significant risks, including public embarrassment, wasted time, loss of property, or even physical harm due to potential mob action before help arrives.
Dikeh advised the public to remain vigilant and exercise caution to avoid falling victim to this deceptive scheme.
