Sharing a photo from his hospital bed, Saka expressed optimism about his recovery, stating:
"The majority see obstacles, but few see the opportunities. Recovery has begun and I'm coming back stronger! Thank you all for your messages. #GodsPlan"
Saka sustained the injury during Arsenal's 5-1 victory over Crystal Palace on December 21, 2024, leaving the match in the first half and later seen on crutches. Manager Mikel Arteta confirmed that Saka underwent a successful procedure but is expected to be sidelined for more than two months. Arteta commented on the situation, saying:
"He had a procedure; everything went well, but unfortunately, he will be out for many, many weeks."
This setback means Saka will miss several crucial fixtures, including Premier League matches against Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, as well as key FA Cup and Champions League games. Despite this, Saka's positive outlook suggests he is determined to return to the pitch stronger than before.
