The name "Kekius Maximus" is associated with a meme-inspired cryptocurrency token operating on blockchain platforms like Ethereum and Solana. Following Musk's profile update, the token's value surged dramatically, with reports indicating increases between 500-800% within 24 hours.
Musk's use of Pepe the Frog further emphasizes his engagement with internet meme culture and its intersection with the cryptocurrency world. The cryptocurrency community has reacted enthusiastically, with other meme-based tokens experiencing price increases.
This is not the first time Musk has altered his profile name on the platform. In January 2023, he changed it to "Mr. Tweet" and humorously noted that the platform wouldn't let him change it back.
