Enyimba FC has announced the departure of head coach Olanrewaju Yemi Daniel and the appointment of Stanley Eguma as his successor.
This change comes amid a challenging season for the club, which currently sits 11th in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) standings.
Daniel, who was promoted to head coach in May 2024 following the appointment of Finidi George as the Super Eagles coach, has been instrumental in leading the team through a season marked by inconsistent performances. Under his guidance, Enyimba has struggled to find form, resulting in their current mid-table position.
Stanley Eguma, a seasoned coach with extensive experience in Nigerian football, takes over the reins at a pivotal moment for the club. His appointment is expected to bring a fresh perspective and strategic direction aimed at improving the team's performance and securing a higher league position.
