Ex Bayern Munich Forward, Eric Choupo-Moting Joins MLS Side New York Red Bulls

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, the experienced forward with stints at top clubs including Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, has officially joined Major League Soccer's New York Red Bulls.

 The 35-year-old striker, who left Bayern Munich as a free agent, will make his MLS debut with the Red Bulls in the 2025 season. 

Choupo-Moting has agreed to a two-year contract with the team, where he is expected to bring his leadership and attacking skills to their offensive lineup. Known for his impressive career across several European leagues, he has played for clubs such as Hamburger SV, Schalke 04, Stoke City, PSG, and Bayern Munich, where he helped secure numerous titles including Bundesliga championships and a FIFA Club World Cup.

Internationally, Choupo-Moting has been a vital player for Cameroon, earning over 70 caps and scoring 20 goals. His vast experience at the highest levels of European football is set to be a valuable addition to the Red Bulls as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the new MLS season.
