Nigerian football legend Obafemi Martins recently bestowed blessings upon fellow compatriot Victor Osimhen's newly acquired Lamborghini Urus.
Osimhen, who currently plays for Galatasaray, purchased the 2022 model of the luxury vehicle, reportedly valued at approximately $300,000 (around ₦470 million).
During a visit to Lagos, Osimhen met with Martins, who offered prayers for his junior colleague's new car, invoking safety and success in the Yoruba language. Martins prayed, "You will not falter. You won't offend the elders. You will not be involved in an accident with this car. You won't suffer injury."
Obafemi Martins, renowned for his speed and acrobatic goal celebrations, had a distinguished international career with the Nigerian national team. He earned 42 caps and scored 18 goals for the Super Eagles between 2004 and 2015.
