Olympique Lyonnais has received an initial offer from Galatasaray for Georgian forward Georges Mikautadze. Galatasaray's proposal is reported to be €17 million, supplemented by additional bonuses. 
Mikautadze, 24, rejoined Lyon in July 2024 on a four-year contract extending until June 2028. The transfer from FC Metz was valued at €18.5 million.
Despite Lyon's current financial challenges and the need to comply with the DNCG (Direction Nationale du Contrôle de Gestion), the club has deemed Galatasaray's initial offer insufficient. Lyon is reportedly seeking a transfer fee of at least €20 million for Mikautadze.
Mikautadze has expressed interest in joining Galatasaray. Negotiations are expected to continue, with the Turkish club anticipated to present an improved offer to meet Lyon's valuation.
