FC Barcelona coach Hansi Flick provided an update on defender Ronald Araújo's recovery from his recent injury. "Ronald Araújo feels better. He’s at a good level already now," Flick said.
Araújo has been sidelined since July due to a torn left biceps femoral tendon, which required surgery. He has been intensifying his training at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper and is nearing full fitness.
Regarding Araújo's return to the pitch, Flick added, "I don’t know if he will be back tomorrow or in the next games, I want him to feel 100% ready for it."
Last weekend, FC Barcelona faced UD Las Palmas in La Liga and lost 2-1. Despite Raphinha scoring a goal for Barcelona, UD Las Palmas managed to secure the win with goals from Sandro Ramírez and Fabio Silva.
This midweek, Barcelona will take on Mallorca on December 3rd, 2024, at 19:00 (local time) at Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.
