José Mourinho, the manager of Fenerbahce, has firmly dismissed rumors of Cristiano Ronaldo joining the Turkish club.
Mourinho, who previously coached Ronaldo at Real Madrid, stated, "Cristiano Ronaldo will not come to Fenerbahce. I have three good strikers and I don’t need another one."
Despite acknowledging Ronaldo's legendary status, Mourinho emphasized his satisfaction with the current squad, saying, "Cristiano will always be Cristiano, but I don't want him because I'm happy with my strikers."
The Portuguese coach also addressed the speculation, adding humorously, "Cristiano might come to Istanbul to eat because it’s halfway between Saudi Arabia and Portugal. Or maybe he’ll come see his old friend José, we can eat at my hotel."
Mourinho's comments come amid reports of Ronaldo's potential move as his contract with Al Nassr approaches its end. However, Mourinho's stance remains clear: "I don’t need another striker."
