Kemi Badenoch, the newly appointed leader of the UK's Conservative Party, recently shared her evolving views on faith during an interview on Bari Weiss's podcast.
She revealed that she no longer believes in God, the creator of heaven and earth, but clarified that she does not identify as an atheist. Instead, she describes herself as an agnostic and a "cultural Christian."
Badenoch explained, "I don’t believe in God anymore. But I am not an atheist; I am agnostic. I used to believe in God very much, but now I see myself as a cultural Christian. I don’t think it matters whether people believe in God or not. What truly matters is how they act based on their beliefs—or lack thereof."
