Mason Mount Sidelined for Several Weeks, Confirms Rúben Amorim
Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount has been ruled out for several weeks due to a muscle injury sustained during the recent Manchester derby. The setback adds to a challenging season for Mount, who has struggled with injuries since joining United from Chelsea in July 2023.
Addressing Mount's condition, manager Rúben Amorim stated, “Mason is going to need some time to recover, and it’s really tough for him to be sidelined for such a long period. We’re doing everything we can to support him as he works hard to get back to fitness.”
Despite Mount's absence, Manchester United will turn their focus to this weekend’s Premier League clash against Bournemouth. Amorim has confirmed that forward Marcus Rashford, who missed recent matches due to illness, will be available for selection as the team looks to build on their recent form.
