Actress Mercy Aigbe recently shared a personal account of her experience during the production of her film "Thin Line."
In a heartfelt Instagram post, she recounted a morning onset when she awoke to find her eyes severely swollen, rendering her unable to continue filming. The intense pain led to her hospitalization, where doctors diagnosed her with a severe infection.
Despite these challenges, Aigbe expressed gratitude, stating, "In all, I still give God the glory." She also acknowledged the significant effort invested in the film, noting it required "a whole lot of challenges, a whole lot, but in all, I still give God the glory." Aigbe thanked fans for their support and encouraged those who haven't seen "Thin Line" to watch it, as it is "showing in all cinemas nationwide."
In addition to her health challenges, Aigbe faced a devastating fire at her Lagos home on December 3, 2024. She expressed gratitude that no lives were lost in the incident, stating, "Devastated! Thank God no life was lost! It is well." The fire drew sympathy from fans and colleagues, though some questioned the timing, suggesting it might be related to the promotion of her upcoming film "Thin Line."
