Porto head coach Vítor Bruno has refuted claims that Arsenal intends to recall midfielder Fábio Vieira from his loan spell at the Portuguese club. 
Vieira was notably absent from Porto's recent match against Boavista, leading to speculation about a potential return to Arsenal, especially in light of Bukayo Saka's injury.
Addressing these rumors, Bruno clarified that Vieira's exclusion was unrelated to any recall by Arsenal. He stated, "Fábio knows me well, and we are counting on him. He will be available to play again next week."
Vieira, who rejoined Porto on a season-long loan from Arsenal in August 2024, has recorded two goals and two assists in 17 appearances this season.
Despite Arsenal's current need for attacking options following Saka's injury, Bruno's comments suggest that Vieira will remain with Porto for the remainder of the season.
