A stadium warning indicated that such behavior could result in the match being stopped or forfeited. PSG players, including captain Achraf Hakimi, intervened to calm the fans before play resumed.
PSG's head coach, Luis Enrique, praised his team's performance, highlighting their control and quality throughout the match. He emphasized the importance of minimizing errors against high-caliber opponents and commended the contributions of young talent Désiré Doué, who earned a penalty and provided an assist during the game.
This victory brings PSG's point tally to 37 after 15 matches, solidifying their position at the summit of Ligue 1. They now hold a seven-point advantage over second-placed Olympique de Marseille. Lyon remains in fifth place with 25 points.
