Nigerian Islamic Scholar Sheikh Muyideen Ajani Bello Passes Away
In the early hours of Friday, December 6, 2024, Sheikh Muyideen Ajani Bello, one of Nigeria's most esteemed Islamic scholars and preachers, passed away at the age of 84. His death was announced by Alfa Aribidesi of At-Tawdeeh Islamic Da'awah and confirmed by several prominent figures within the Islamic community.
Born in 1940 in Ibadan, Oyo State, Sheikh Bello was widely respected for his profound Islamic teachings and his dedication to promoting religious education. Throughout his career, he taught at various secondary schools in Oyo, Ogun, and Kano States, and served as the Missioner for the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria.
