Alex Iwobi, the Nigerian international and Fulham midfielder, extended generosity to families in East London by distributing free food during the Christmas season. 
Operating from his temporary shop, 'AleXpress,' in Canning Town, Iwobi provided essential items, including turkeys, to over 100 families as part of his newly launched Project 17 initiative.
Iwobi attributes his philanthropic spirit to his upbringing, stating, "In the house I was raised in, my dad naturally just gave back... Seeing how my mum and dad are has inspired me to give to others, whether they are fortunate or less fortunate."
This act of kindness coincides with Iwobi's impressive performance on the field, having scored five Premier League goals this season. His contributions have been instrumental in Fulham's current standing, with the team amassing 23 points from 15 games, marking their second-best performance at this stage in Premier League history.
