Teni Celebrates Birthday with Sister Teju, Shares Heartfelt Throwback Photos

Nigerian singer and songwriter Teniola Apata, professionally known as Teni, recently commemorated her birthday by sharing nostalgic photographs on her official Instagram account.

The images feature Teni alongside her sister, Teju, with whom she shares the same birth date.

 

In her heartfelt message, Teni expressed, "Happy birthday Teni and Teju. In this world, the next and 100 more lives, I'll pick you over and over again my ride or ride. Happy birthday to us." 

Teni, born on December 23, 1993, in Lagos State, Nigeria, has garnered acclaim for her contributions to the music industry. She is the younger sister of Nigerian singer Niniola.

Throughout her career, Teni has received numerous accolades, including the Rookie of the Year at the 2018 Headies Awards and Best New Artist at the 2018 Soundcity MVP Awards Festival. In October 2022, she was honored with the national award of Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) by Nigeria's former president Muhammadu Buhari.
