
Tottenham Triumph Over Manchester United in Carabao Cup Quarter-Final
Tottenham Hotspur edged past Manchester United with a thrilling 4-3 victory in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals, securing their place in the competition's semi-finals.
The match began with Dominic Solanke capitalizing on a defensive lapse by United's goalkeeper Altay Bayindir to put Tottenham ahead in the 15th minute. Shortly after the break, Dejan Kulusevski doubled Spurs' lead, and Solanke struck again to make it 3-0.
Manchester United mounted a spirited comeback with Joshua Zirkzee narrowing the deficit to 3-1. Amad Diallo further reduced the gap after benefiting from an error by Tottenham's goalkeeper, Fraser Forster.
Heung-Min Son restored Tottenham’s two-goal cushion with a spectacular effort, scoring directly from a corner in the 88th minute. Although Jonny Evans netted a late goal for United, Tottenham managed to hold on for the win.
The victory propels Tottenham into the Carabao Cup semi-finals, keeping alive their hopes of claiming silverware this season.
