Manchester United secured a 3-1 victory over Southampton, with Amad Diallo delivering a remarkable late hat-trick to overturn a 1-0 deficit.
Despite the team's success, defender Leny Yoro faced significant criticism for his performance. He struggled defensively, particularly against Kamaldeen Sulemana, leading to a 3 out of 10 rating from Goal.com, which noted he was "repeatedly destroyed" by Sulemana. Similarly, The Scottish Sun assigned him a rating of 5, stating he "failed to show his worth as a high-cost defender."

Fans expressed dissatisfaction with manager Ruben Amorim for not substituting Yoro earlier, reflecting concerns over his performance.

The match saw Manchester United trailing due to a first-half own goal by Manuel Ugarte. However, Amad Diallo's late hat-trick in the final 12 minutes secured the comeback victory. Diallo's performance not only lifted United from 15th to 12th in the standings but also highlighted his emergence as a key player for the team.
