"Mbappé Was Jealous" - Neymar Reveals Tensions with Mbappé After Messi's Arrival at PSG

Neymar recently shared his thoughts on the dynamics between himself and Kylian Mbappé during their time together at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). 

Speaking on a podcast with World Cup winner Romário, Neymar revealed that Mbappé had always been an important figure at the club, even referring to him as the "golden boy" during their early days together. Neymar highlighted their strong relationship, which included supportive conversations and mutual encouragement, believing that Mbappé would become one of the best players in the world.

However, Neymar also discussed a noticeable shift in Mbappé’s behavior when Lionel Messi joined PSG in 2021. He explained that Mbappé seemed to become "a little jealous" and no longer wanted to share Neymar’s attention with anyone else. Neymar acknowledged that while egos are a natural part of football, it's essential to understand the importance of teamwork, stating, "It is good to have egos, but you have to know that you don't play alone."
