During her tenure at CSKA Moscow, which began in 2021, Ordega made 84 appearances, scored 29 goals, and provided 20 assists. Her contributions were instrumental in securing two Russian Cup titles, a Super Cup, and four Super League silver medals for the team.
At 31, Ordega brings a wealth of experience to Al-Ittihad, having played for clubs across five continents, including stints with Piteå IF in Sweden, Washington Spirit in the USA, Sydney FC in Australia, Atlético Madrid and Levante UD in Spain.
Internationally, Ordega has been a stalwart for Nigeria's national team, participating in four FIFA Women's World Cups (2011, 2015, 2019, and 2023) and contributing to multiple Africa Women Cup of Nations victories.
Her move to Al-Ittihad reunites her with fellow Nigerian international Ashleigh Plumptre, who also plays for the Saudi Arabian club.
Al-Ittihad Ladies are currently seventh in the 10-team Saudi Women's Premier League, with 15 points. The team has faced challenges recently, losing its last three games and securing only one win in the past five matches.
Ordega's addition is anticipated to bolster the squad as they aim to improve their standing in the league.
