RB Leipzig Firm on Keeping Benjamin Šeško Amid Arsenal Interest

RB Leipzig's striker, Benjamin Šeško, is not anticipated to transfer during the current January window, despite reported interest from Arsenal. The German club has no plans to sell the 21-year-old Slovenian international at this time.
Arsenal has reportedly re-engaged in discussions with RB Leipzig regarding Šeško, with manager Mikel Arteta having communicated with the player on multiple occasions. The proposed arrangement from Arsenal involves a loan with an option to buy; however, RB Leipzig prefers an immediate payment or an obligatory purchase clause.

In June 2024, Šeško extended his contract with RB Leipzig until 2029, despite interest from clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, and AC Milan. This extension underscores both the club's commitment to retaining him and the player's contentment with his current situation.

Given these factors, it appears unlikely that Šeško will depart RB Leipzig during this transfer window. Arsenal may need to explore alternative options to strengthen their attacking lineup.
