Sadio Mané, the former Liverpool forward currently playing for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, has expressed his desire to have three or four children with his wife, Aisha Tamba.
The couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary on January 7, 2025, following their Islamic marriage ceremony in Keur Massar, a suburb of Dakar, Senegal.
In a recent interview, Mané stated, "If it is just a choice, I would say 3 or 4. Except that it is God who decides, and I will thank Him no matter what." When asked about the possibility of having more children, he responded, "Maybe, you never know." He concluded, "Whatever the number is, I will accept it. I am leaning more towards 3 or 4, and we will see about the rest."
Mané and Tamba's marriage has garnered attention due to their age difference; they wed when Mané was 31 and Tamba was 18. The couple reportedly met through family connections when Tamba was 16, and their union received full support from her parents. Tamba's father remarked, "My wife and Aisha visited their [Mané's] family one day, and this is where he met her for the first time. He probably saw something special in her, and his parents appreciated her as well."
