Álvaro Morata Set for Move from AC Milan to Galatasaray Following Verbal Agreement for Loan

AC Milan and Galatasaray have reached a verbal agreement for Álvaro Morata's transfer, which includes an initial loan with an option to extend for an additional year, as well as a purchase clause.

Morata joined AC Milan in July 2024 for a fee of €13 million and contributed in 25 appearances across all competitions. During his time at Milan, he scored six goals and provided two assists. In Serie A, he made 16 appearances and netted five goals, including a notable strike in a 3-0 win against Lecce on September 27, 2024. His performances were integral in helping AC Milan secure the Supercoppa Italiana in January 2025.

However, his time at Milan was marked by inconsistent performances, with limited starting opportunities, leading him to seek a move to Galatasaray in January 2025. The necessary paperwork is currently under review, and Morata is expected to finalize his move to Istanbul soon.
