Ansu Fati has been named in Barcelona’s squad for today’s match against Rayo Vallecano, marking his return to the team. The forward has struggled for playing time in recent months, having been included in only three of the last twelve matchday squads. His most recent appearance came in January, when he played briefly in the Copa del Rey fixture against Barbastro.
In addition to Fati’s return, Ronald Araújo is also back in the squad after recovering from a right ankle injury sustained against Sevilla. The defender took part in full training on Sunday but is expected to start on the bench.
Barcelona will be without Andreas Christensen, who is nearing a return, while Marc-André ter Stegen and Marc Bernal remain sidelined with long-term injuries.
The full squad for the match includes Szczesny, Peña, Koundé, Eric, Cubarsí, Íñigo, Araújo, Balde, Casadó, Frenkie, Pedri, Gavi, Olmo, Fermín, and Fort.
Kickoff is set for 9:00 PM local time at Montjuïc.
