Beyoncé Becomes First Black Woman to Win a Country Grammy

Beyoncé made history at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards by winning her first Grammy in a country music category, becoming the first Black woman to achieve this milestone. Her album *Cowboy Carter* earned her the award for Best Country Album, solidifying her groundbreaking influence in the genre. Additionally, she secured the Best Country Duo/Group Performance award for her collaboration with Miley Cyrus on the track *II Most Wanted*.

*Cowboy Carter* represents a fusion of country, pop, rap, and hip-hop, serving as the second act of her 2022 project *Renaissance*. The album's success extended beyond the Grammys, debuting at number one on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart—making Beyoncé the first Black woman to accomplish this. Her single *Texas Hold 'Em* also reached the top position on the Hot Country Songs chart, marking another historic achievement.
