As the divorce drama between Nigerian singer 2Face Idibia and his wife, Annie, continues to unfold, relationship expert Blessing 'CEO' Okoro has made her stance clear, expressing that she feels no sympathy for Annie's predicament.
Okoro criticized Annie for relying heavily on her status as 2Face’s wife and argued that Annie has failed to cultivate her own identity outside of that role. In her view, Annie’s public persona is predominantly defined by her connection to the Nigerian music legend, rather than her individual achievements. “There is no Annie without 2Face. 2Face is the trophy,” she stated.
She further contended that Annie's career, particularly her acting endeavors, has not seen notable success, and she believes this has contributed to Annie’s dependence on her marriage for visibility. Okoro emphasized that women should prioritize building their own careers and identities, separate from their partners. “I’ve always told women, build a career like me as Blessing CEO. I have built a name for myself. If I have to marry any man, even if it is Dangote or an Otedola, there is a Blessing CEO,” she added.
