Actress Jessica Alba has officially filed for divorce from her husband, film producer Cash Warren, after 16 years of marriage. The 43-year-old actress submitted the divorce petition in Los Angeles County court on Friday, February 7, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the separation. The court documents list December 27, 2024, as the official date of their separation.
Alba and Warren, 46, were married on May 19, 2008, and share three children: Honor, 16, Haven, 13, and Hayes, 7. In her filing, Alba has requested joint physical and legal custody of their children and has also sought to restore her legal name to Jessica Marie Alba.

The couple first met in 2004 on the set of "Fantastic Four," where Alba starred as Sue Storm and Warren worked as an assistant to the director. Over the years, they have been open about the challenges in their relationship. In a 2021 interview, Alba candidly discussed the evolution of their marriage, stating, "It's all rosy for two and a half years. But then after that, you become roommates."

In January 2025, Alba announced their separation on Instagram, writing, "I've been on a journey of self-realization and transformation for years—both as an individual and in partnership with Cash. I'm proud of how we've grown as a couple and in our marriage over the last 20 years, and it's now time for us to ... ." She emphasized their commitment to co-parenting, adding, "We are moving forward ... ."

Despite the end of their marriage, both Alba and Warren have expressed a dedication to maintaining a positive co-parenting relationship for the well-being of their children.
