AC Milan secured a 3-1 victory over AS Roma in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals at San Siro on February 5, 2025. The win sees them advance to the semi-finals of the competition, where they will face the winner of the clash between Inter Milan and Lazio.

Tammy Abraham, currently on loan from Roma, opened the scoring for AC Milan in the 16th minute. The English forward capitalized on a rebound from Tijjani Reijnders' shot, heading the ball past Roma’s goalkeeper. Just before halftime, he doubled Milan’s lead, finishing off a counter-attack orchestrated by Theo Hernández.

Roma responded early in the second half through Artem Dovbyk, who reduced the deficit and reignited hopes for the visitors. However, Milan restored their two-goal advantage in the 71st minute when João Félix, making his debut after a loan move from Chelsea, calmly chipped the ball over Roma’s goalkeeper Mile Svilar to secure the win.

With this result, AC Milan moves one step closer to Coppa Italia glory as they await their semi-final opponents.
